We were brought on board by Social Chain Agency to create some original TikTok content for KFC! The goal was to generate organic engagement by shooting something commercial that was suitable for both a short-form mobile video platform, and for professionally showcasing KFC’s new meals.
The job took a day to complete, in which we shot 4 videos for KFC's TikTok account. We took on the challenge of catering the visuals exclusively for the fastest-growing short-form video content platform - this meant being selective with our camera movements.
We shot using a handheld camera to dial down the smoothness of the shots, suiting the nature of TikTok content. We combined this with expert food styling and lighting, offering the quality without complexity the client was looking for.
The purpose of this content was to increase organic engagement on KFC’s socials - and it paid off! The videos were the highest performing organic content KFC’s TikTok had seen, with the peanut butter chicken gaining over 65K views, over a 200% increase from their previous videos!
