Men's haircare brand Dense came to us for a campaign that sought to start a conversation about the effects that hair loss can have on men’s mental health, while also emphasising the science behind hair loss prevention. With this being a full brand launch, a huge amount of digital content was needed, including product explainer videos, interviews with barbers and doctors, a 60-minute podcast-style discussion around mental health, product photography, and much more besides. We worked alongside Kiss Branding to deliver this mammoth project, with shooting and post-production taking place at our production studio in Leeds.
Video production took place over three days with three minimalist sets to swap between as we went! Our Leeds video production studio was transformed into a classy, yellow-brick wall barber shop, to coincide with the Dense brand colours, and illuminated using multiple ARRI SkyPanels.
Dense wanted to achieve a laid-back, modern feel with the brand launch videos, which included capturing and incorporating behind-the-scenes footage into the videos. To ensure we captured as much digital content as possible, we had up to four different cameras rolling at once!
We capped off a busy video production with a fourth day for product photography and lifestyle shots.
With so much material produced throughout the shoot, post-production was a big undertaking - two solid weeks of editing! All in all, we produced nearly 3 hours of cross-platform video content alongside a plethora of stills that covered all of the photography needs for the brand launch.
The deliverables serve as an abundant visual content bank for Dense's website and social channels as they launch their new rebrand campaign!
