At Tungsten, we want to work with brands that are the thinkers and movers behind a more sustainable future for our environment, so when EvenGreener approached us to shoot their branding re-launch, we couldn't wait to get on board! They wanted a few social cutdowns, which we were to shoot on a range of locations. These included our Leeds-based studio, York Gate Gardens, a suburban garden, and the IPL factory in Hull. We had video and stills to produce, so used a range of equipment including an easy rig, Arri Alexa Mini LF, and a Phantom Camera.
For this shoot, we took care of the full production process from start to finish, which meant there were several facets to the planning process. These included script development, photography planning, production planning, scouting for locations, actors, and crew.
Shooting on the Arri Alexa LF equipped with Canon Sumires and mounted on a Streadicam gave us the flexibility to capture smooth, engaging shots on location. We drew visual inspiration from the film The Tree of Life, implementing the style of Emmanuel Lubezski by bouncing natural lighting around the scene.
We took care of all aspects of post-production in-house, which included editing and finalising the brand film, as well as cut-downs for EvenGreener's social platforms, website, and paid advertising platforms. EvenGreener's brand refresh was all about expressing the peacefulness and ease of inserting environmentally-conscious products and practices into daily life, so we wove together our footage and chose the perfect accompanying music which complimented the theme and scripting. The end products convey the brand story with the warm colour palette and smooth natural elements, all while making the viewer feel like part of the family.
