Tungsten Primers: How the impossible shot is made using Visual Engineering?

The first of our Tungsten Primers - a series of quick bite video explainers on anything and everything video production.

Today we’re proud to launch Tungsten Primers - a series of quick bite video explainers to pull back the curtain and show you how it’s done by an agile video production company.

In the age of social media, creative video production is easily one of the most popular marketing methods for brands of all sizes. With the deluge of attention-grabbing social ads only getting larger and more inventive by the day, it’s no surprise that we often find ourselves wondering how some of the more impressive shots out there are actually put together.

Here at Tungsten, we use a wide variety of specialised techniques to make our work stand out from the crowd, and in each of these videos we’ll be focusing on a different area of our expertise. First up is visual engineering, the art of creating bespoke solutions to the needs of any particular shot. Whether that’s cutting a saucepan in half, blasting fire towards the camera, or launching milkshake through the air, it always leaves a lasting impression.

Check the video out below, and keep your eyes out for the next in the series in the not-too-distant future.
